Muffin, if you already have the game on Steam you can try this as well: https://repziw4.de/downloads/mw2-client.zip. The only thing I don't like about that is that if they update their files, you will still have the old stuff. The automated installer is still a lot more easier in my opinion. Yes, it can freeze up, but you should be able to still get the files after 3 or more tries like Arbo said.Originally Posted by Studdmuffin

It should still resume from where it left off though from the crash. If you need help let me know.
It does but sort of starts all over because those files get corrupted when it crashes. I've tried it 30 times and same thing. Even the main game and one DLC at a time. Same result.
