About Berlin
Been playing PC games since release of Half Life in '98 at 8 years old. Much of my jump into FPS play came from my uncles' taste in video games which were all FPS at the time. He owned his own up and coming computer business. His warehouse would be the site of mini LAN parties on various weekends. He helped finance my first gaming PC and later helped introduce me into the PC world of gaming as well as building a computer. I would eventually branch off from HL to arena shooters like Quake and Unreal Tournament while my "mentor" pursued BF2142.

So... my history stretches multiple ,multiple platforms and games-Kotor, Serious Sam, Far Cry, and Lord of the Rings RPG's. I also played an untold amount of hours with Playstation 2 games like Soldier of Fortune, Red Fraction, Unreal Tournament, and SOCOM. I was exposed to BF2142 to which i played knife only servers for a time before transitioning to my first call of duty experience that left me hooked. Cod4 was crack. In a short time I had 6.6k hours of time devoted to this game in a few short years. This game consumed my practically 80% of my HS years. My first real gaming clan was IIWW3II. I played a season with them in TWL. We did rather well holding a top 5 spot for a season that is until some unfortunate clan drama lead to folks forming Wolf Pack Clan after some clan issues resulting in a move back to BF2142 Titan mode for good. From here I departed and joined another COD4 clan called Forgotten US. Though I would leave and become inactive for a time because my now upset parents were not happy with how I was using my free time. My gaming time got cut way down. I would try W@W which I would enjoy immensely, but it never had the population base as cod4. I was discouraged as well because previous cod4 friends were now absent not playing the new game and W@W friends didn't stay long. With college looming I left gaming all together. But I would later drop out of college for a semester due to family issues. I started gaming again, but instead of FPS games I got into AION another game that could be compared to crack. Black Ops saved my bank account! At its release I had been buying gold at ridiculous rates to keep up with my friends to play AION. I didn't have their time to grind and craft all the necessary crap to raid and PVP as often as we did. MMO's are like a second job man...

While I had purchased Black Ops at release after being intrigued I didn't play much until January 2011 as the game was unplayable on my AMD hardware. I would bounce back and forth to AION and BO until I got new gear. With new gear (which this game is heavily dependent on) I played my heart out finding I really enjoyed the game which would get me noticed by some current extremely talented players from other competitive gaming scenes like Halo 2 and Cod4. They went called themselves Marksmen Ministries or MM|. We established a strong foot hold in TWL holding all ladders at number 1 spot for weeks. It was an accomplishment we worked hard for. It seems silly now to say considering its only a game- a hobby to pass the time. None the less I contributed my time gaming with these folks for a good 2 years. We would change the team name to .endgame// in memory of their old cod4 clan that also held every ladder 1# spot for HC game modes for a time before retiring. We would do the same with season two even going back to cod4 for a short pam4 SND tourney we won.
I stopped playing for a time, I don't recall how long. I returned with a good friend to play for Dream Team, DT|and later Game Over Quebec, Qc`. Winning yet again another Snd season to which I called it quits as people were moving on to BO2 and BO3. I pug'd now and again, but was preoccupied with university and women lol. I graduated nursing school, went to work, and left this "history" of mine for 3 years until I decided to build my own PC (again).

I have off and on played various games ever since, but never truly finding a game I have liked as much as Black Ops and this is were you will find me for the time being. With my future of gaming coming to an end yet again due to graduate school I have decided to stay in one game I know I can separate myself from.

So that's me. People have called hacks for so many years that what was once funny and amusing is so old its annoying. At first you want to rationalize for them, but eventually that is so much work its not worth your time. The saying "You can lead a horse to water.." is so Ironically applicable here. It is sad though because if people knew a person and could see the history of that individual they might* be able to understand how and why they have great aim or game sense or why they are the way they are. Walk a mile in there shoes.
