I reactivated your ban. We lifted your ban and you came into the server acting like an ass and a bigot. I was not going to let you go that crazy. BTW I see nothing for can I just play the game in the...

With big thanks to Dren. We now have the following servers:

    DPG 24/7 TDM Chicago ( 24 players )

    DPG 24/7 S&D Chicago ( 24 players bone stock )

Burgundy and Toujane from CoD2! Need I say more?

(Both servers are back online with the 1.0 release - Enjoy)

As many of you know, DPG hasn't had an official main game for quite some time. Yes, we should be thankful that we have 6 popular servers such as the CoD4 HC TDM, CoD4 Zombies, CoD5 HC CTF, MW2 HC TDM (Repz version), BlackOps HC TDM server, and our new Insurgency server.

However, the problem is even though we have ...

It gives me great pleasure to announce that the |DPG| 13 year anniversary event will be taking place on Saturday, February 28th @ 1:00 PM EST / 12:00 PM Noon CST / 11:00 AM MST / 10:00 AM PST. All |DPG|, regulars, and friends of our community are invited, unless you are on some kind of **** list.

The game we will be playing is MW2. Why MW2? Well because MW2 is actually pretty darn fun and because we need to play something different ...

First of all, I want to give thanks to everyone in DPG for helping make DPG last this long and continue to last for many more years to come! Thank you especially to our leadership team!

Now on to the big event...

In celebration of DPG's 12th year (January 23rd, 2002 - January 23rd, 2014) as a clan and a community, we will be having a CoD2 event on Saturday, January 25th starting at 3:00 PM EST / 2:00 PM CST / 1:00 PM MST / 12:00 PM Noon PST.

We will be playing on the CAL ruleset/CAL config which some of you have already tried already. It features ready up mode and all that good stuff that your already use to in CoD4 ProMod.

Again, this is for CoD2 and not CoD4. Why CoD2? Because a lot of us were hoping that the winter league would of been CoD2, but Bo felt as though there wasn't enough interest. Maybe we can prove him wrong so that later down the road there will be a CoD2 league. Show your support by showing up!

This will be an all day long tournament that @Bojangles will be providing more info in regards to such as IPs, rules, etc.

If you don't have CoD2, then you can get it for free. Our CAL private server is already configured to allow generated keys unlike the public CoD2 server where you need a legit key.

Simply post here if you can make it. This will be a 5v5 S&D tournament for CoD2.

If for some reason your a big n00b cake that needs help with getting CoD2 then I can personally assist you. You have up until the day before of the anniversary event to get help, but I would advise not waiting until the end. If you choose to be a gondu and wait until the day of the anniversary event for help with getting CoD2 then I will ignore your request completely. If you ask me on TS, I will just move you to the GONDU channel.

Hoping for a good turnout. Long live DPG!

EDIT - Forgot to mention that this tournament will feature prizes for the winning team! The prizes will be various steam games to be announced only after the event is over. If for any reason everyone magically already has these games then I guess you can go boil an egg and suck a tomato in the corner, and celebrate!

A good group of you guys already have got this game and for those who do have it you all seem to enjoy playing it. So far I haven't seen a single person who is not enjoying it.

Right now for me this is my favorite game that I play.

Best of all it is free!!! You can get it off of Steam.

Check out this video of the gameplay. Its a slower paced modern warfare theme game that has an emphasis on tactical movement. Needless to say the game has a lot of replay-ability and fun factor.

I hate to say it, but its more fun than some CoD games that costs $60 plus $15 for DLC.

DPG has 2 servers for this already thanks to @Kahne.

    They are:

    DPG Chicago Server 1
    (12 slot server)

    DPG Chicago Server 2
    (24 slot server)

I have made a B3 request for this game on the official B3 forums. Hopefully we can get some support for this soon, but in the mean time there is in an in game admin panel, and I also have a way to ghetto rig PB to do auto pb announcements possibly like I did a long time ago with CoD2, but will have to get with Khane in regards to that.

So come at least tryout this game! You have nothing to lose other than a little hard drive space, and time since it won't cost you a penny!

    See you on the servers!

At first when I tried out the beta from a beta key that I got from @Mr. Snickers about a month ago I thought the game sucked. Well, that all changed pretty quickly over this last few days. The game has had quite a few improvements, and after playing it again on the last day of the beta (last night) with about 14 of us or so on TS, I have to admit this game is pretty damn fun, and everyone in the channel to the exception of maybe Hottie was in agreement that this is DPG's newest game!

You don't have to be a super competitive person to enjoy this game. That is one thing I really liked about this game. Don't get me wrong its a nice competitive game, but one thing we all also agreed on was this game is a very nice casual game to play. By far the most casual CS game of the three.

It was REALLY fun playing with some of my old friends who I haven't gamed it up with for over 2 - 3 years simply because they were playing other games (League of Legends...) or burnt out with the current stuff that is out there.

I encourage EVERYONE to go out and get this game! What is this game?! This game is Counter Strike: Global Offensive. The game is now in retail as of today, and is available via Steam, or at your local Gamestop, or other retailer.

This game is not $60 bucks like some of the lame products released by Activision in which we have to usually wait a year or possibly longer for some modding group like FD1 to mod in order to give us basic things such as modding tools, server support, and bug fixes. This game is $14 on Steam! For some of you that is like lunch money for 3 days or 3 Mocha Lattes at Starbucks! Point is, you can afford it! If you can't then how the hell do you pay for your internet?

This game isn't a console port either! In fact, its nice to know this game will be ported over to console (PS3 and Xbox360) for a change. Finally, they can see how we feel!

There is also built in zombie mod for those who are interested in that. Unlike the newest CoD games we don't have to pay for DLC. Maps and mods will be constantly made with updates, and all are free! Its a great bargain!

Its been a very long time since I went out on a limb to tell the entire clan to go out and get any game. Go get this game! They fixed quite a few things. The hit boxes, the registration, the graphics (look very nice btw), and the optimization. This is Valve, they have a great reputation for PC gaming support. In fact, they probably have the best support! For a day one release its looking pretty damn good! Yes, I posted this in the Clan News & Announcements for a reason!

Last, many of you from CoD4 S&D have heard me say that my competitive days are over and that I refuse to scrim. Well, I take back those statements. I will be inner clanning the hell out of this game, and look forward to playing the hell out of this game on TWL like we did back in CoD2/early CoD4 days when we literally did 2 - 3 matches every single day! That is how EXCITED I am for this game. I love this game!

    Max (Jossi)

P.S. Sometime later today when @Bojangles arrives home. He will be setting up our new CS:GO server! Yes, this is on Bojangles! God knows I have had my share of setting up servers for the CoD series! It is now Bojangles's turn! . Also, Bo set us up with a private one as well for scrimming/inner clan scrims while your at it!

P.S.S. Looks like there is no B3 support: http://forum.bigbrotherbot.net/other-games/steam-games/ but, that's okay because there is Mani Admin and Source Mod which are both well established and are very close to how B3 is anyways.
