for some reasn i cant connect to our moh servers it keeps on saying connection timed out can anyone help

Once again you blame it on the server, when in fact your computer has tons of viruses that you admitted too, you even said your internet connection sucks and needs to be fixed, you live in Phoenix and have an 80 - 150 ping which makes no sence which shows your PC and ISP is screwed, but ok blame it on the server... yea that should help get things fixed Gun_Void...

yeah well my brother told me to run this stupid thing and same problem..... o but did u see the jk at the end of it lights?....yah bout the viruses....those r gone.....maybe my brother screwed my comp when he reformatted it...I mean that did screw up a bunch of programs

i think you should check to see if your bros tech books are updated gunvoid sounds like he messed it up

we;; his job is with comps...he made me go to start : run: then type CMD then type ping 69.50.214.70 to see if i can connect to the server and it says 4 packets sent 0 recieved...o yeah bout the reformat he put the programs back and they were screwed up like cod, gamespy and a bunch of other ones

No if you check the IP address he was using, that's NOT the ip address for the two servers he needed to get to:

These two will work fine:

This ip address is unreacheable:
69.50.214.70

Does the website need to be updated so people are not misled?

These were messed up because your admin rights to the machine were taken away after the reformat....they had to be run a special way as mentioned in this thread:

Maybe that sounds harsh, but it's for the better and it's a good practice. For anyone who uses linux...you know this because you don't log in to the machine as root every time. You log in to a regular account and only "su" up if needed...this prevents you from doing stupid stuff to your computer by accident.

BTW: For the record I'm a programmer but I have a good background in computer hardware as well. : )

Ok well this could be the problem.

Our CoD server has the same IP as our mohaa servers, it just has a different port number.

The servers page on our website hasn't been updated because our web designer (me) has been busy. So the IP's on this page are wrong http://www.thadpg.com/?load=ssi/servers.php

But I did update the ip's on the right menu that says servers. So use that for the server addresses, for now.

I just figured the whole clan would know, that since we have 1 server that hosts all our games, that it would be quite obvious that the ip's would all be the same for every game. You don't even need a port number to connect to CoD since it uses the default port for the game.

Also the new IP's have been posted all over the forums anyhow. So everyone in the clan should have that figured out. :rolleyes:
